Donations of funds and items to NM-REAL, Inc. are fully tax deductible. We very much appreciate your donations! They help the volunteer Board Members and other volunteers of NM-REAL carry out our purposes of education and advocacy for alternative lifestyles and creation of safe space. Donations may be unspecified - for any purpose determined by the board, or specified for a particular use. You can donate through this website or at our events, or after talking with one of our board members. NM-REAL may have multiple donation campaigns. Our General Fund is managed by the Board of Directors for the best benefit of our community. From time to time, we may advertise other campaigns that benefit specific organizations or individuals. Those campaigns will be specifically identified.

NM-REAL is recognized by the IRS under section 501(c)(3) under EIN 99-2887899 as a 509(a)(2) public charity where donors may deduct on their taxes any gifts, bequests, devices, and transfers. NM-REAL will provide documentation of your contributions at your request.

Donate in Person
You can donate funds and phyisal items in person at our events to a NM-REAL Board Member or officially designated volunteer. Please dicuss this with a NM-REAL Board Member before your donation.​​
Physical Items
Physical items can be used in NM-REAL's missions to support out our mission of education and advocacy for alternative lifestyles and creation of safe space, provided to those in need, or sold in auctions to our community. Upon donation, NM-REAL will provide a letter describing your donation that you can use in your tax preparation. Example physical items you might donate include:

Clothing or gear: Leather, belts, vests, boots, accessories.

Dungeon equipment: Furniture, tools, implements.

Historical items: Posters, magazines, patches, pins, particularly those concerning New Mexico alternative communities.

Donate with Credit Card
We prefer you use Zeffy for donations, a platform for non-profits that ensures 100% of raised funds go towards our mission. These donations go toward our General Fund that helps NM-REAL serve the community as directed by the NM-REAL Board. You can select one-time donation, or repeating donations monthly or yearly. Set the amount that makes sense for you. We really appreciate your support. You'll receive a tax receipt for making this donation. ​Please consider supporting Zeffy and NM-REAL by adding a bit for Zeffy so they can continue to support non-profits.
