Save the dates – A great fall kink celebration is coming your way!

KinkToberFest is an immersive, inclusive, and exhilarating four-day journey of discovery, connection, and play—brought to you by NM-REAL and our vibrant community of collaborators. Whether you’re coming to learn, to play, to connect—or all of the above—there’s something at KinkToberFest for everyone 21+ who craves excitement, education, and exploration in our community.

Kinktoberfest is an inclusive event coordinated by NM-REAL and the community, four fun days in October over three weeks for those 21 years of age and older.  Come to just socialize; come to just learn; come to just play; or come to mix and match how you feel.

Come solo, come with friends, or come make new ones!  Each day blends high-quality educational classes with unforgettable play parties in a welcoming, inclusive space. Think of it as your perfect fall escape—part kinky con, part community gathering, and all unforgettable fun. Two Friday evenings, and one weekend on Saturday and Sunday.  The Saturday-Sunday event includes more class time, and a closing community social lunch barbeque.  You must buy tickets for this event at KinkToberFest.com.

Educators and Classes:

Check back soon for an updated list of classes and educators.  We expect classes to include Cigar Service & Play, Tools for Resolving Internal Community Conflict, Navigating Dominant Culture Spaces, Rope Series, Knife Play, Whips, Electroplay, and many more.  Interested in teaching? Contact us at the email below.

Play Parties:

Our pansexual, sex-positive play parties are tailored to offer something for everyone. We’ll have separate safe space for female-identifying and male-identifying encounters. Optionally participate in our BDSM areas that includes dungeon equipment.  The larger play space is for fun social interactions, sexual explorations, light-volume DJ music, as well as kinky entertainment may entice you.  Dungeon space will be quieter for more relaxed social interactions and BDSM play.  Our facility has lockers you can use to store your belongings.  Bring your own lock or purchase one locally for a small fee.

Our party themes will set the mood, but you decide how much to participate. Whether you love costumes, prefer leather, or enjoy going au naturel, you’re welcome here.  To fit into the seasonal mood these are our themes: Friday Oct 17 – Carnival of Horror, Friday Oct 24 – Haunted House, Saturday November 1st – Dia de Muertos (Day of the Dead), Sunday Nov 2nd – Community.

Cost to Attend:

More about cost and tickets coming Soon!   We seek to provide Kinktoberfest as an inclusive and affordable option for our community to come together for learning and play.

You’ll be able to purchase tickets for individual Fridays and the weekend, or one ticket for all.

Process to Attend:

All attendees must be 21+ with government ID and sign a community behavior agreement. Our goal is to foster trust, safety, and joy—together.

A Community Event:

This event was held the same time last year in different parts by different names.  We are formalizing the event and expanding to fill available facility space and interest in the community.  KinkToberFest will be held at the Purgatory/Spectrum space.  The list of organizations involved will grow from our original organizers, NM-REAL (nm-real.org), Spectrum Parties (spectrumparties.com), Onyx High Desert (onyxhighdesert.com), Purgatory Dungeon (purgatorydungeon.com), and Domum Corium Cordis (houseofleatherheart.org).

Traveling from out of Town?

Our event space is near the intersection of Jefferson & Osuna NE.  You can stay nearby or just about anywhere in town.  Travel in Albuquerque is usually 30 minutes or less from just about anywhere distant in town.   If you need advice, let us know!  There is much more to do in Albuquerque when you have some down-time from the event.   Check out visitalbuquerque.org and cabq.gov for other ideas or ask us.
