Are you looking to reconnect with the Leather & alternative community without the late nights and noisy settings? This is a back-to-basics, early, low-volume social event open to the entire Kink and Leather communities, allowing you to meet new and old friends without staying out late.

The Low Sensory Leather Social (LSLS) offers a relaxed, low-key gathering for those in the leather, BDSM, and alternative communities, held earlier in the day with a focus on conversation and sober-aware drink options. LSLS takes place just before later, louder events, so you can arrive early and decide how long to stay.

This event is open to the entire kink and leather communities, other organizations, and includes all sexualities, gender expressions, and kink/fetish interests, providing a space for discussion and exploration. Attend in any attire, whether vanilla, casual leather, or any gear (as long as it's bar legal) to experience and learn more about leather and kink.

Event Topics

Event topics are fluid and can change based upon attendee interest.

• Flash Classes - Brief sessions on various topics. Conflict resolution is the topic this session - excerpts from a broader class.

• Review/Discuss Kinktoberfest 2025 -- Pictures, videos will be on the TV display.

• New to the scene? Curious? Want to hear others' ideas? We'll cover ways to fill your dance card, how to negotiate pickup play, and techniques for finding play at an event. Public events often provide safer opportunities for hookup play. Your approach can vary based on your personality and the type of play you seek.

• Come listen and share your ideas! We'll also cover other topics. Bring a topic you'd like to discuss!

What to expect?

Each night may differ as we refine our style. Expect informal conversations. An event board with sticky notes will be available for you to jot down and share other community events you know about. Announcements about upcoming events may be made. Optional name tags will be available to help others remember your name. Some events might feature a short speaker session.

Location

Our event is hosted at Sidewinders S4200, ABQ Eagle, in the Cabaret Room. Restricted to those 21+ years old. This venue offers free parking, Kinky mocktails, drink & shot specials, with no cover charge. There's a food menu and both indoor and outdoor seating available.
