About the Event

USED & ABUSED

A Kinky Sale, Swap, & Social

Clean out your toybag, upgrade your gear, or come hunt for something wickedly affordable.

Kinky garages sales, rummage sales, and swap meets are a great way to find items to round out your kinky attire or toy bag. So make sure to join in a community rummage-style sale featuring leather, kink gear, clothing, accessories, toys, books, décor, and other deliciously pre-loved treasures.

Buy. Sell. Swap. Socialize. Learn. Explore

This event is not focused on traditional vendors. You should find lower prices. Just community members passing along gear, finds, and fetish-friendly bargains.

What might be sold or swapped? Some ideas include leather gear, clothing, boots, vests, harnesses, collars, cuffs, and accessories, kink/BDSM equipment and toys, fetish wear and alternative clothing, kinky or community arts and crafts, books, educational materials, décor, storage items, and related lifestyle goods, handmade or small personal items related to our community. This event is not intended for commercial vendors, professional retail booths, or large inventory businesses.

Attending

  • Admission is free. No membership required.

  • Seller space is free for qualified community sellers. Registration information will be available soon for sellers.

30 Minute Info Sessions

We will have 30-minute info sessions staffed with discussions, groups and clubs talking about their activities, mini-classes. We have up to 16-20 slots in the five hours in two separate rooms. Organizations can sign up to host a slot or two to spread word about their events. Topical discussions and mini-classes may also be found. We'll post the schedule here in the near future.

What we need from those who will host a session:

  • Group/Club/Business/Etc. Name

  • Point of Contact Name

  • Point of Contact Email

  • Short 1-2 sentence description of what you'll be doing in your 30 min block of time. This can be a mix of things or just one thing, such as describe your organization, conversation, demo, short tutorial, Q&A, hand out flyers, etc.

  • Your preferred time slot (suggest 1230 pm to 400 pm, but could be noon or 430).

  • (optional) Your graphic logo in PNG or JPG format.

  • Send this to office@nm-real.org.

We will get back to you to confirm your attendance, information, timeslots. If we have time slots available, you can have more than one time slot, separated in time from the other to give you more exposure opportunity.

Donating Items / Few Items

Have one or few Items? Don't want to sell them? What can you do?

  • If you do not want to sell items, and want to give them away, you can provide them to NM-REAL, Inc., a 501c3, federally recognized charitable organization. Write to office@nm-real.org. We can pick them up.

  • If you have one or a few items to sell, consider teaming with others to watch your collective items. We will organize a Cooperative Vending Area for such collective team sales for people with few items. This will be a great social experience in itself. If you want to participate in that, please indicate it in the form below.

What to Bring

  • This event will not provide or sell food or beverages (water is available). Please bring your own beverage, snacks, food.

  • Those selling items must bring their own table and chair.
