Evolution of the Revolution 3 (EvoRevo 3) Presenters
THE PRESENTERS
Who’s coming to EvoRevo3? Oh, what great news we have for all of you! Below please find bios of all of our guests along with workshop descriptions.
Guy Baldwin has been both participant and observer of the American leather scene since the mid-1960s. An acclaimed speaker, he has delivered keynote addresses for the Leather Leadership Conference, the International Master/slave Weekend & South Plains Leatherfest, the “Living in Leather” convention of the National Leather Association, the Austin Bash, and the Dominion Gathering, to name a few. Of his published work, he is perhaps best known for his essays in Drummer magazine, many of which were collected in his 1993 book, Ties That Bind. His 2002 SlaveCraft, now in its fourth printing, offers a compelling and controversial look at the inner dynamics of erotic servitude in the Master/slave dynamic.

In 1989, he was selected Mr. National Leather Association and the 11th International Mr. Leather, and is the only person ever to hold both titles concurrently. He has been awarded both the Pantheon and Dominion Lifetime Achievement Awards, and in 2000 was named “Centurion” by the Leather Archives & Museum—one of twenty in the 20th century recognized for outstanding contributions to Leather. He was among the first inductees to the Society of Janus Hall Of Fame in 2004 and received the first Master/ slave Heritage Award at the 2009 Master/slave Conference. In 2008 he received the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force’s third-ever “Leather Leadership Award,” in recognition of his lifelong commitment to the leather community.
Workshop: “Psychological Land Mines along the D-S and M/s way"
Relationships which are configured around authority differences can experience a range of challenges that can threaten both long and short term connections. Sometimes these threats are simply a matter of a too-casual approach to language. But other threats can provoke a full-blown crisis.
Guy plans to comment on some of the authority-based issues he has seen walk into his psychotherapy office over the years. He will respond to questions on the topic and facilitate discussions about them.
The Librarian, Vi (Viola M.) Johnson
is a leatherwoman, activist, author and archivist who embarked on her journey in the Leather/BDSM scene in the early 1970s. A strong advocate for the necessity of preserving leather/fetish/erotic history, Johnson speaks and writes with a single-minded focus on the broad spectrum of issues that concern her and her community.
A mentor and confidante to many in the fetish world, she has a protective fondness for the “boys / bois” of the community, and those who choose to serve as slaves and submissives and is often referred to as the “Mother of all Submissives.”

Mistress Max Rulz has been active in the BDSM lifestyle for twenty years. She has produced and hosted her own BDSM radio show, “The Leather Hour” on KPFT 90.1 FM Houston, TX / 89.5 Galveston, has appeared on FOX news, and founded a woman’s BDSM support group called “Just Us -Women in Kink.” Max has presented at leather events around the United States and Europe and for the University of Texas’ Human Sexuality department. Max has served on the advisory board of The Woodhull foundation. Her passions include photography http://www.themaxvilla.com and her newest project as anchor of "The Emotional News" http://www.twitter.com/emotionalnews
Workshop: “The C.U.N.T.T. Theory”
The C.U.N.T.T. Theory has nothing to do with genital play. It will, however, keep your ass safer.
“CUNTT” stands for five steps that, when applied, can be invaluable in substantially decreasing the risk of involvement in unhealthy relationships and insure that growth continues for all involved in those that are established. While developed for the D/s relationship, CUNTT Theory can be of significant value for any level of human relating. Within the workshop, the steps of CUNTT Theory are outlined and defined, and participants will examine relatable examples.
Simon Blaise

Since his introduction into the kinksexual lifestyle at the tender age of 19, the original “Kinkstar” Simon Blaise has rocked countless stages, taught classes, and has attended major kink events across the globe. From the elite clubs of Hollywood to prestigious engagements in Japan, the Middle East, and Europe, Simon has been sharing his techniques and philosophies with thousands of his fellow kinksters. Simon continues to study various expressions and theories on kink, BDSM, M/s, energy play, tantra, and more in his pursuit to unlock the mysteries of how humans connect.

Workshop: Own Your Kink
Have you ever fantasized about what it would be like to have the ability to live your life on your own terms without caring what other people think? What if others had no choice but to accept you for who you are? Would you let your full true self out of its cage? If this has piqued your curiosity, this may be the class for you. Simon will go over the primary "word prisons" that we and others around us impose upon each other and some ways we can break out of those word prisons.
WARNING: This is an intense class that will change your life forever.

As one past attendee wrote a few months after the class, "After your class, I escaped the four main word prisons and I now have a whole new set of friends who don't want to lock me up into what they expect me to be for them! I wake up smiling now. I even love myself a little more and find myself getting excited about all the possibilities that were once stored away in my head labeled as unattainable fantasies. I only wish I had attended your class 10 years ago."

“Polyamory and Non-monogamous lifestyles”
From the mistresses and concubines of the 18th century, to the hippy free love movement of the 60's, polyamory has existed throughout time. We will explore various types of poly relationships, what works and what doesn't, multi-partner negotiation, timing, planning, and of course, communication. We will discuss household structure in regards to BDSM and general responsibilities, including the ever important topics of money, legalities, and sex! This will be an open and candid discussion where Danielle will lead and facilitate rather than lecture. Please come ready to share your thoughts and ask your questions!
“Yoga for Recovery”
Did you have a fantastic, sexy good time? Worn out and sore from all the play? This class will take you through a series of yoga postures designed to strengthen and support your recovery from the inside out. Workshops with Deborah Isadora Wade
“Thank You for Being Such a Pain: Ethics, Leadership, and Working with Difficult People”
Getting along with people is not for pussies. Difficult people are a pain in the ass AND can be an asset. Ethical leadership and working with difficult people takes trust, truth, tact, and timing. Then add the ability to show up at the next meeting! How do I act instead of react? How do I model leadership qualities while working with difficult people? How do I deal with the different personalities of our community? This workshop is about how ethical leadership responds to difficult situations and personality types.

“Walk on Me: The Art of Foot Worship” Our feet carry us everywhere. They are stuffed in boots, heels, and shoes too small, too tight, or too high. Foot fetishism is the most common form of sexual preference for otherwise non-sexual objects or body parts. Today the kinky foot community can involve everything from bare feet to foot jewelry and shoes, or even stockings. There is nothing like having someone who loves feet revere them. A massage or pedicure can be therapeutic or sensual. This is all about the sensual. Come learn how to give a foot massage she/he may never forget. This will be your chance to learn how to give an erotic pedicure. The erotic wonders of worshiping the foot may lead you to: take her panties down and tie them around her feet, tickle and lick the soul of his foot, suck a toe in your mouth, torture his feet with feathers or a Wartenberg wheel, or slide your foot between those legs. Come learn or indulge yourself in the veneration of the part of us that carries the weight of our world!

Phoenix B’s “official” entrance into the Seattle BDSM community was by joining the local SM Dyke club Outer Limits in 1985. From there Phoenix quickly went on to become a coordinator in that organization until it closed in the mid-90s. Phoenix is the co-founder/producer of the well-known and highly-regarded Wicked Womyn SM conference in Seattle. Phoenix also served as a coordinator for PowerSurge Conferences in the 1990s as well. Phoenix has taught many workshops across the United States, Europe, and Canada for over twenty years on master’s level health and safety, play piercing, artistic cutting, suturing, fire play, blood drawing, flogging, and Japanese rope harness. Phoenix produced the video “On the Cutting Edge” that was accepted for the highly respected Seattle Erotic Arts Festival. Phoenix also loves “hooks” and has facilitated many energy pulls and suspensions.
Some of the events Phoenix has served include Women at Leather Pride - Amsterdam, Schmacht! - Berlin, SM Dykes - Manchester England, Dark Odyssey - Baltimore, Black Beat – Baltimore, Lesbian Sex Mafia - New York, Thunder In The Mountains - Denver, Southwest Leather Conference – Phoenix, Beyond Leather – Ft. Lauderdale, Pacific Friction – Portland WA, Mayhem – Vancouver Canada, Southern Bash – Atlanta, Women In Leather International – Dallas, and in Seattle: Wicked Womyn, PowerSurge, Seattle Women of Leather, Center for Sex Positive Culture (the Wetspot), C-Space, Kinky Carnival, and the Blood Faire.
Phoenix believes it is important to share knowledge about SM techniques but also to listen and learn from others as well. Phoenix has many interests, but motorcycle riding and service bois are some favorites. Phoenix identifies as a Two-Spirit Native (Cree First Nations/Scots), Gender Queer, Top, Sir, and Daddy, and has a particular fondness for having boots shined.

Workshops with Phoenix B
“Master’s Level (601) S/M Health, BBP, and Safety”
No matter how much experience you have in BDSM, whether you are a top or bottom, you WILL learn something new in this class that will help you play safer. This class is an opportunity to become aware of the potential hazards and learn safety guidelines for dungeon and private S/M play. Learn about what your chances are of contracting HIV or hepatitis. What do you do if you’ve been exposed to a blood borne pathogen? What kinds of things can a bottom look for in a Top to assure their own safety against contracting an infection?

We will cover risk reduction techniques, blood borne pathogen awareness and concerns, STIs-STDs, HIV; proper glove use in SM; what do you do for an accidental needle stick; what are some of the appropriate cleaning materials for skin; how do you clean and disinfect dungeon equipment/medical/leather/& sex toys; safety items/first aid kits; MRSA; burns; melanoma awareness, and more. Phoenix looks to professionals in the medical field for current cross-contamination reduction practices, post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post-exposure_prophylaxis) and will link those practices to our S/M activities to help create safe kinky play. Participants are encouraged to bring their expertise (because Phoenix does not know it all) and/or their questions to this discussion.

“Fire Play to the EXTREME!”
This is a body rite of passage that weaves spirit, flesh, fear, and triumph together. It is about fulfilling your fantasies and/or confronting your fears and finding victory and accomplishment. You will achieve this by having your full body being put on fire for a split second before you leap into the swimming pool. The rush of excitement you will feel is over the top! This event is not a top/bottom/master/slave activity, nor is it a macho, ego, pain, or power trip. No matter how you define yourself in BDSM, this will take you flying. So everyone is encouraged to participate in this event. Please bring a bottle of 70% rubbing alcohol, a dry towel, and clean skin (no oils, lotions, hair product, or perfumes etc). Come watch or come try. This is one event you won’t want to miss!

This class will take place at Nancy Ava Miller’s home, in the pool room, at the end of the Sunday night BBQ.

Workshops with Mistress Saskia
“Damned if You Do: Predicament Play for Mean People”
This class goes from simple to insanely complex. It is not intended to demonstrate every type of predicament bondage possible, but rather to stimulate the imaginations of those wanting to be more psychologically cruel with their scene construction.
“Gender Crossing”
What is crossdressing? Why are people into it? Is it always about humiliation? It it ever about humiliation? How much force is required for “forced feminization”? Is sissification different than crossdressing? Do women crossdress? What's the difference between TV, TG and TS? Mistress Saskia will discuss these and other ins, outs and arounds of crossdressing and gender play.
