Amber has been an out leatherdyke since 1973. She is passionate about ethics and safety in the community. She’s presented on many topics and created and ran Leatherlife, a workshop on leather lifestyle and theory. She founded the Leather Order of Honor and Service. She lives in Albuquerque, NM.

Class:

(1) "Artistic Cutting"

Artistic Cutting is about bonding, sensuality, SM play, and art. It can be used as ceremony, fun, personal expression, or deep D/s or top/bottom power exchange. Blood is primal. Art is a creative action. We enter with mutual respect, clear minds and a desire to share something beautiful. The class will include an explanation of the process, discussion of ethics, safety, placement, techniques, and aftercare. There will be a demonstration of these approaches. For those who wish to explore and taste, there will be opportunity for 1-on-1 mentorship of a small cutting. To do this, you must bring your own partner. A single use scalpel for mentorship exercise will be provided. The class will also provide a materials list, and step by step instructions. Trigger warning: You will likely see some blood or bleeding.
