Educator: Dawn

Dawn, wandering to us most recently from Delaware, is a nationally recognized, trauma-informed sex educator, presenter, podcaster, and author with over twenty years of experience. She is host of the longest-running kink podcast, "Erotic Awakening", and co-author of books on Power Exchange including "Living M/s", "Lead Follow Love" and "Hearts and Collars", as well as polyamory titles such as "The Polyamory Toolkit". Dawn has taught hundreds of classes nationwide and online on Power Exchange, Polyamory, Sacred Sexuality, and Energy Work. Whether speaking to large audiences, leading intimate workshops, or mentoring one-on-one, her mission is to help people heal and consciously forge the authentic lives and relationships they desire. (1) "The Introvert’s Guide to the Kink Community"

• Dawn, proudly claims her introvert side, shares practical ways for introverts to not only survive but thrive in the kink community. This workshop explores how to navigate munches and events when the “social scene” isn’t your comfort zone, how to find play partners without burning out, and tips for managing energy around extroverts (including how they can better support us). With humor, honesty, and lived experience, Dawn offers insight and strategies for making kink community involvement feel more authentic, sustainable, and fun – even for the quiet ones.

(2) "Negotiations: Six Styles to Get the Scene You Want – or Need"

• Dawn presents six distinct styles of negotiation designed to help you create the scene you desire. Whether you prefer to carefully map out every detail, or start with a blank page and let the story write itself, you’ll learn multiple approaches that can adapt to your style and needs – whether you’re topping or bottoming. Dawn also demonstrates how the Kink Starter cards can be used as a tool to clarify boundaries, spark creativity, and inspire new possibilities. You’ll walk away with practical knowledge and new perspectives to make your negotiations smoother, more effective, and more satisfying.
