Educator: DCPaH (Duke City Pups and Handlers)

Duke City Pups and Handlers (DCPAH) was created to bring pups and handlers in the New Mexico and surrounding areas together. Our events are welcoming to everyone, no matter how you identify. We have monthly moshes and non-bar events to provide fun space for our members and the those curious about the lifestyle. We create a safe environment where everyone can participate and enjoy themselves without being overwhelmed or judged.

• Ever wondered what’s behind all the hoods, tails, and happy barks? Whether you’re curious about becoming a pup yourself or just want to understand and interact better with pups at events, this class is for you! With the energy of play-bows and zoomies, let’s explore the playful world of pup culture—discover your own inner pup to learning the do’s and don’ts of engaging with pups and handlers in the community. Explore how moshes work, etiquette, what kinds of gear pups wear (for both style and safety), toys, and how to build confidence in expressing your pup self. Pup play is for all genders, orientations, and curiosity levels. Expect a fun, welcoming space where you’ll find a better understanding of what drives pup play, how it builds connection and joy, and how to wag your way confidently into (or alongside) the pack. Come ready to laugh, learn, and maybe even bark a little! 🐶💫
