Our first Low Sensory Leather Social (LSLS) was a success this last Saturday, February 15th, with about 30+ attendees. Three NM-REAL board members attended, Rebecca, Mike, and Brandon. Past board member Ven also attended. Optional LSLS name tags were used by many. Boy Christian was there as bootblack! A free raffle took place. Lot's of great conversations. Spontaneous paddling took place a number of times near the end of the event after people saw all the toys available in the raffle and couldn't help themselves. A number of people appreciated the early hours and clammer/quieter music. Many stayed a bit longer for the following leather Gear Night and as three vendors set up with artwork and novel leather items. Next event is March 15th, 2025, 7-9 pm.
This event was held at Sidewinders Bar & Grill, ABQ Eagle, but other LSLS events can be held elsewhere.
