Amber has been an out leatherdyke since 1973. She is passionate about ethics and safety in the community. She’s presented on many topics and created and ran Leatherlife, a workshop on leather lifestyle and theory. She founded the Leather Order of Honor and Service. She lives in Albuquerque, NM.

In this interactive session, we’ll explore not just the words we use, but the meanings and assumptions behind them. Through engaging discussion and visual mapping, you’ll see how different roles, archetypes, and power dynamics actually flow in relationships. Together, we’ll diagram real or desired dynamics and even brainstorm fresh, meaningful names for the roles that inspire you.
